I was going to adjust the valves on my savage today, so when I was unscrewing the speedo cable to take the gas tank off, I heard a piece of metal hit the floor. I found it and it was the piece that holds the cluch cable to the engine case...the outside of it just broke off. My bike is only a year old and went out of warrenty last month. I'm trying to find out about getting an extended warranty now. To fix it the whole bottom left half of the case has to be replaced, which i'm sure would be very expensive. I'm thinking about JB weld but the metal lools ike cheap pot metal, so I'm not sure. The worst part is that the bike is my only transportation. Any suggestions?
